Cows are gentle animals who are affectionate, emotional, and intelligent.
Having cow in our home brings wealth and happiness. Farmers love cow as their family member.
We did had cows. When i was studying first standard your grandpa came up with an idea of raising cow in home.
Carpenters were called and shed was build along with small cement tub for feeding cows.
We were very excited about the arrival of cows and my dreams were filled with cows 🤣🤣🤣
The day came and in a small tempo came with two cows... a red one and a white one.
Both the cows were scared of the new place and even we were exited we didnt went near.
Your grandpa ordered hay bundle....groundnut cake and cotton seeds for their feed.
The caretaker mixed in correct quantity in the tub and the cows after little hesitation started drinking it.
To make friends with the cows we slowly give haysticks to them.
Slowly they used to be friend of us.
Your grandpa came up with the naming of the cows. The red one as laxmi and the white one as saraswathi resembling the goddess.
Laxmi is very attached to your grandpa. The first hay bunch should be given to laxmi by your grandpa. Otherwise it will protest and not eat anything.
Your grandpa has to hug laxmi several times and make her eat.
Whenever your grandpa goes on duty few days laxmi will be very dull and when she hears his sound back home it will make sound ...maa... until he visits and hug her.
After comming from school watching cows was an interesting hobby.
Even in the morning busy to school we go and say bye to cows 🤣🤣🤣
After sometime laxmi gave birth to a little white calf and your grandpa named her as gayathri.
The cute little calf was like you and became a playmate to us after comming from school.
It was a beautiful memory for us even now. Your mother and myself had a idea of having cow but space constraints restricted the idea.
Maybe next year we can have a cowshed in the outskirts and you can visit them in weekends...
Let's wait.... 👍
